Continuing with the second Didactic Unit presented today, it is abouthealthy habitsondiet and hygiene.What I have liked about it is that, although the ICT are little used, it has a clearstructureof the sequence: it has a plain opening to assess, with a game, the previousknowledges of the children. Then is continues with an explanation of the topic, using a digital whiteboard. Later some games are played to see what are their actual habits and how could they change them if necessary, so it sets off the new knowledges from the real experience. Finally, there are two activities of consolidation and evaluation: a visit to a market and a gymkhana in the nature. I like the way real life is combined with the theory of the topic, and how children can really integrate this theory to their real life, helping them to give sense to what they do.
